The Intermediate Road Race Seat is similar to the 43 Series Road Race Seat, but it is made a little lighter duty for a more affordable price, while keeping all the comforts of the more deluxe seat. The seat is very comfortable making it ideal for endurance events. This seat can also be made to your custom specifications.

- .125 Thick 5052 grade aluminum , TIG welded outside and MIG welded inside for added strength
- A true road race design with built in shoulder supports
- Aluminum Extrusion around perimeter for extra strength
- Machined openings eliminate rubber molding on seat belt holes
- Entire seat is padded with high-density foam for extra comfort and support
- Contoured headrest is designed to cup helmet
- Support at rib height for high G force cornering, but is designed to not interfere with shifting
- Cover is made from high quality tweed cloth
Available in 15, 16, 17 and 18-inch widths (17" and 18" have a slight upcharge). If you need something larger, this seat is also available in Custom widths.
Choose from Black, Grey, Red, or Blue Tweed Cloth. All but Black will be special order, so please allow extra shipping time for other colors.
Remember, the heavier the car, the heavier the driver and the faster the car, the stronger the seat needs to be. Choose a seat that is appropriate for your situation.
