I/O Port Seat Back Brace is included The I/O Port Racing Supplies Seat Back Brace has met with approval by SCCA, IMSA, NASA, BMW CCA and other sanctioning body's scrutinizers. Our lightweight aluminum units are designed to bolt to the back of the seat and clamp to the roll bar, no welding required. The unique clamp will fit roll bar tubing from 1-¼" to 1-¾" in diameter. Our quick-pin brace adjusts from 2-½" up to 15" making the brace ideal for multi-driver cars. The plate that bolts to the back of the seat is 2-½" x 8" for a total of 20 square inches. For fore or aft adjustments…just pull a pin, slide the seat and reinstall the pin. For other adjustments the brace can be loosened so that the seat can be tilted or moved up or down, and the brace then re-tightened. Most sanctioning bodies require such braces on all non-FIA-rated seats. Please note: the design of the brace requires you to drill holes in the back of the seat and attach the bracket to the seat. I/O Port Seat Brackets with hardware are included The aluminum brackets bolt to the side of the seat and are adjustable for height and tilt. The base of this bracket is drilled for fore/aft adjustment. These brackets are furnished with hardware to mount the brackets to the seat. About the Harnesses: The Autopower Pro-Latch 500 restraint system features a duck-bill lever with built-in recess on the latch to avoid snagging with arm restraints or gloves. The net offers the greater visibility of mesh nets and the strength of ribbon nets combined into one! They are made from a knitted mesh with a 5/16-inch diamond pattern combined with 1-inch nylon webbing. It has webbing that is spaced at greater intervals than normal ribbon-style nets for better visibility, but these nets are much safer than nets made only with mesh material. Because of the thinner mesh material, we recommend replacing this type of net at least every two years. These super-safe nets are SFI 27.1 certified. The integral bottom mounting allows this net to be made very tight, but still allows the net to drop down out of the way for easy, quick driver access. Unlike other nets, this net does not require an extra bottom mounting kit. A spring-loaded top mounting kit is provided for a complete install. This net comes with D-rings that you can weld to the door bar to keep the net from sliding. Options: Available in two different sizes: The smaller 15" x 18" net works better for smaller cars like the Spec Miata.
