Bell logoBell Helmets

Since its introduction, Vortex has consistently won the praise of professional and amateur racers for its light weight, superb fit, advanced aerodynamics and superior ventilation. Vortex is the helmet of choice among the world's premier drivers. Vortex is Bell's most advanced ultra lightweight helmet with sophisticated aerodynamic features engineered in the wind tunnel and refined under actual racing conditions with input from the world's top drivers. Aerodynamic features such as Trip Strips, and Vortex Generators significantly reduce wind buffeting and helmet lift at high track speeds. In addition to its advanced aerodynamic features, Vortex's light weight helps reduce the straining and fatiguing of your neck and head during acceleration, braking and cornering. Vortex's exclusive high efficiency ventilation system keeps you the coolest you've ever been. Vortex laps the field with Extended Coverage. All these performance and safety features combine to give you the smoothest, coolest, ride you've ever experienced. Vortex, the industry leader continues with a choice of several models to best fit your driving needs.

Extended Coverage (EC) is the future of helmets for the millennium and beyond. Unlike conventional helmet liners, EC extends coverage throughout the helmet. EC lines the entire shell with Bell's FX-bead foam liner; literally "surrounding your head with protection." Don't confuse the protection of EC's FX bead foam with comfort padding interiors; they are not the same. Foam liners and comfort padding are two separate materials; comfort padding is primarily for a comfortable helmet fit, foam liners are for impact absorption and protection. Engineering Extended Coverage into all their helmets reflects Bell's commitment to enhancing protective technology and incorporating new advances into helmet design. Only Bell surrounds you with the superior protection of Extended Coverage. If you're not using EC, you're not using your head.
