551.
Our AP 551 has a dry boiling point that exceeds 550°F. This DOT 3 Motor Vehicle
Brake Fluid conforms to SAE J1703, ISO 4925 & F.M.V.S.S. No. 116 Minimum Wet
Boiling Point 284°F. AP551 is compatible with magnesium brake and clutch systems.
To obtain the best performance from AP Racing 551 Racing Brake Fluid, bleed the
brake system thoroughly with fresh fluid immediately prior to each event. This
is particularly important in wet or humid conditions or when the brakes are excessively
hot. Always use fresh fluid from a sealed container.
AP Racing packages the fluid in 17-ounce (½ liter) plastic bottles.
Although AP551 is not silicone based, it should not be mixed with other fluids.
Purge your system completely for best results.
