This package contains the 1/2-wave rubber ducky antenna which gives a 3 db gain advantage over the 1/4-wave antenna that comes on the SFE radios. This allows for longer distance transmissions with more clarity. The antenna has a BNC connector so you will need an adapter to go between the antenna and your radio.
