1994-2004 Ford Mustang Convertible - Race Roll Bar with Removable Cross Brace Option

The front seats are installed and the diagonal and shoulder harness bar are put back in. Note the small piece of material at the top of the driver's side of the roll bar. This is a helmet restraint. This will keep your head from going underneath the roll bar in an accident and then catching on the underside of the roll bar breaking your neck. This bar is not designed to mount harnesses. The larger shoulder harness bar that goes all the way across the car is used to mount your racing harnesses.

Also, the diagonal cross brace and shoulder harness bar must be removed to carry rear passengers. If not removed, an accident could cause major injury or death to the rear seat passengers.
