Autopower Roll Bars and Cages
A Roll Bar or Cage is a special order item and is shipped factory direct to you. Your credit card will be charged at checkout. A $20.00 cancellation fee (or 5% of invoice total, whichever is higher) will be charged if the order is cancelled after it is ordered and before the item is manufactured. After manufacture, there is no cancellation allowed. Please make your selection carefully, special order items are not returnable.

Paint Issues:
Autopower gives you two options: painted in black or no paint
at all.
If you have selected black paint for your roll bar or cage,
please be aware that these steel products are sprayed with an industrial grade
gloss black cover coat for rust protection. Expect
some paint damage during shipping. You may want to refinish products before
final installation. It is best to check fit and drill all holes before you repaint.
There is NO paint finish guarantee.
If you would like your roll bar to be painted another color,
powder coated, or chromed, you should order the bar without paint and then arrange
to have the bar finished after you receive it. There is no charge for this special
order request, however, Autopower does NOT guarantee
that they will remember to leave the bar or cage unpainted.
As of March 31, 2023 Autopower will no longer offer paint for any roll bar or cage.
Shipping Issues:
Roll Bars:
All Roll Bars are oversize items and most are too large to be shipped via
UPS. If your roll bar can ship by UPS, this option will appear at checkout with a cost of $79.95.
Most roll bars and all cages are oversize for UPS and therefore ship truck freight. We recommend that you ship to a business address as someone needs
to be available to receive your part when the shipper arrives (usually between
9 AM and 5 PM).
We use Pilot Freight or SEKO for most shipments, but your product may be consigned
to a third party shipper. The shipping charge for a roll bar to a California address will be $165. To the rest of the contiguous US, the charge is $235.
Roll Cages:
All roll cages ship truck freight. We recommend that you ship to a business address as someone needs to be available to receive your part when the shipper arrives (usually between 9 AM and 5 PM). Autopower ships full cages on pallets and the shipping charge will depend upon the zone that you ship to. There are two zones: California and the other 47 contiguous states. California will be $250. The other states will be $350.
There are a few cages that are too heavy to ship via our Pilot Freight flat rate program (such as the WRX Rallye Cage). This cost will depend upon the particular cage and the area of the country where it is delivered. We will be happy to provide a quote when asked.
Shipments outside of the contiguous USA
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or international will need to be separately quoted. If you are ordering from one of these areas, DO NOT ORDER until after you ask for and receive a shipping quote. If you order and then determine you wish to cancel the order because the shipping quote is too high (or for any other reason), you will be accessed a cancellation charge of at least 5%!
The trucking company should call before coming to arrange a delivery schedule. I/O Port will send you an email after your product has shipped with shipping information and a tracking number.
If your delivery is attempted and no one is there to
receive it or pay for it, a surcharge for redelivery will be added.
If you live near San Diego, California, you may save shipping costs by picking up your Autopower items direct from the manufacturer. If you would like this option, choose "Pick Up at Autopower" on the shipping selection.
Autopower custom makes each item, so allow 3-4 weeks
for manufacture. During building season (January to June) this time might increase.
Shipment Issues:
Sometimes the shipper can damage or lose your shipment. Slight damage like paint chips/scratches/scrapes is expected and is not considered damage. Your mounting brackets might get bent when the driver is not careful and drops the bar on the ground. Bent brackets can be straightened with a Crescent Wrench or hammer and is not considered damage. Lost shipments can take some time to find or replace. Once the shipping company decides they cannot find your shipment, paperwork will be started and Autopower will remake your bar or cage as quickly as they can. Again, there is no cancellation allowed for any reason including a lost or damaged shipment.
